It was our pleasure to host the Caterham Project V here at HWM last month. What a fantastic and exciting concept car!
Guy Jenner, our CEO, led an intimate walk-around of this all-electric model. The Project V draws on traditional Caterham values, remaining lightweight, agile, high performing and an overwhelmingly fun car to drive.
Project V uses a battery-electric powertrain — powered by a 200 kW single motor mounted in the rear axle and a 55 kWh USOC lithium-ion battery pack. Minimalist design philosophy means Project V uses a 2+1 seating layout (2+2 as an option), which optimises ingress and egress, provides more comfort for the rear seat passenger and offers greater flexibility in how a prospective owner may use the car.
Subject to upcoming development phases and technical feasibility, Project V could be brought to the market in 2026.
