Engine
Alta, 4 cylinders 83.5 x 90mm bore & stroke, 1960cc 2 valves
per cylinder, twin o.h.c, chain driven from rear of crankshaft.
Two weber four choke carburettors; Lucas magneto, dry sump lubrication. Power output over 130bhp at 5200rpm.
Compression ratio 14 to 1.

Chassis
Tubular construction with i.f.s by double wishbones and coil springs; de Dion rear axle with 1/4 elliptic leaf springs. Girling piston-type dampers front & rear. Rack and pinion steering, 1 3/4 turns lock to lock.

Dimensions
Wheelbase 7ft 8in, track 4ft 3in. Dry weight 12cwt.

Transmission
Armstrong Siddeley pre-selector gearbox, giving the following ratios: top 1 to 1, third 1.211, second 1.505 first 2.014. Final drive by hypoid bevels; alternative ratios 3.77,4.10,4.46, & 4.86 to 1. Tyres. Dunlop racing, 5.35 x 16in front & 6.00 x 16in rear, knock off wire wheels.
